Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed.
The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force.
Sarah & Brian (Chicago)

I had the great privilege of shooting Sarah and Brian’s Illinois wedding a few months back! They are such talented and inspiring people and getting to spend a few days with them and their friends and family was such a treat. We hung out with them the night before at their rehearsal and dinner… it was a great time with friends and family celebrating the soon to be husband and wife. Being from California, the humidity and mosquitos took a bit to get used to but other than that, the evening was wonderful!
The wedding day was so so so much fun! Brian and Sarah are amazing bloggers and avid diy-ers so the details were nothing short of fantastic. We battled the rain a bit, but were still able to get great shots and party through the evening.
You can see a lot more photos on their blog andĀ over at Green Wedding Shoes!

Since we were going all the way out to Illinois, it made sense to spend some time in Chicago! It is one of my favorite cities so getting to spend time hanging out and exploring was the best. My friend and I spent a week there leading up to the wedding and we got to be the ultimate tourists… here are a few instagram pics from our time in the city.

These are so amazing, Alex! Some of them are almost like paintings… so cool! What a neat experience that must’ve been.
