Interviewed by Lisa Leonard Designs

An amazing Jewelry designer and great friend Lisa Leonard interviewed me about my perspective on motherhood in anticipation of Mother’s day. Lisa makes everything by hand and really puts her heart into each piece. Wearing her jewelry is like reminding myself I’m loved and lovely. Go check out the image on her homepage then read my interview on her blog! And then… buy something for someone you love!
Wooten Family (San Luis Obispo)
It’s so fun to watch families grow! This is the 2nd shoot I’ve done for the Wooten Family and this time we ran around downtown SLO chasing the boys and scooping them up for the occasional group shot.

Slawson Family (San Luis Obispo)
The Slawson family was so much fun to photograph! For starters their boys were so cute. They were cracking me up with all the stories they were telling me. Having my own little warrior at home; I love adventurous boys. Secondly, they picked one of my favorite locations….in the world. This spot is the exact location where Cameron and I were married 5 years ago! Woohoo. It was so special to return after 5 years bringing our son to run around. How much life has changed and how richly God has blessed us.

Thank you Slawson family for being awesome subjects!!

Siems Family (San Luis Obispo)

You know when you meet people and you think….”I really want to be friends with them”? That is totally the Seim family! Well, my wish came true and I am so happy to call them just that =). I was even more excited to take photos of them this past month for their Christmas card. These two made one adorable little girl and have another little person on the way!

Siems – We love your sweet family and we cannot wait to meet your new little guy!
Cathy Family (San Luis Obispo)
The Cathy Family was so full of love and joy it was impossible not to smile from ear to ear while photographing them!
Beck Family (San Luis Obispo)
These girls Charlie and Lucy just melt my heart every year that we shoot their family. They are the sweetest and even though we only see them for less than an hour each year, they bring joy to me every time we meet.
