Fernando + Sharon {Ubatuba, Brazil}

Brazil was a world of contrast with it’s crowded big cities and gorgeous forests that spill all the way to the beaches. After a few days in Sao Paulo for our Photo + Video Workshop we hoped in a cozy car and drove 3 hours to a vacation beach town called Ubatuba. Because it’s Brazil’s winter, Ubatuba was as sleepy as it ever gets which made for a peaceful reprieve from the busy city life.

Fernando and Sharon had a unique American styled wedding. They got married before sunset making enough time for portraits after their ceremony. Normally Brazilian weddings start in the evening and go straight to dancing the night away, leaving no time for epic pictures of the couple. Sharon, being a wedding photographer, had a fresh vision for her beach winter wedding. I was honored to be able to share in her amazing day.

Cana VP made an amazing preview movie and inspired the natives with the vision of what a wedding could be if done during the day.
