Witek + Valerie {Montreal, Canada}

Anna and I had a wonderful adventure flying up to Montreal Canada for Witek and Valerie’s wedding at Le Manoir Rouville-Campbell. I just loved that everyone everywhere was speaking French! It’s such a romantic sounding language that Anna and I occasionally broke into song, singing ‘Fotofafa Fotofafafafa....’ Not sure what that means, but I think it’s French. ;)

Wit and Val took me all over Montreal Saturday night for their engagement session on the eve of their wedding. It was an honor to be hanging out with them for pictures and dinner just before their big day. I love getting to experience other cultures through the intimate love of a new couple!

I got to learn some fun things about the couple during our time together. Wit is originally from Poland and knows like 4 languages now because his parents moved him from Poland to Germany and years ago to (French) Canada. The couple met in college where they are both finishing their degrees. Val is a biologist and working on some research to heal an obscure disease. They are both really smart and collectively could win the Nobel Peace Prize!

Everyone was so sweet and happy to have us. We were treated like honorary guests! We have made life long friends that we hope we can visit with again very soon.
